Get ready to take the stage and show Santa Clarita what your band can do! The 2026 SCV BandCast Battle of the Bands brings local musicians together for a high-energy competition celebrating original music and live performance. Selected bands will compete in front of a live audience for the title of SCV Battle of the Bands Champion and a $1,000 paid gig at a Santa Clarita venue. Think your band has what it takes? Registration & Performance

• The pre-registration fee is $50 and is non-refundable.
• If selected to participate in the competition, an additional $250 registration fee is required, bringing the total registration cost to $300.
• The $250 balance must be paid by December 12.
• Each band will be allowed 10 minutes of stage time.
• All bands must submit their songs, along with the lyrics, no later than December 12.
• All songs must be original material.
• Lyrics may not contain profanity or inappropriate language.

Selected Bands

• Final participants for the competition will be announced by December 5.
• Selected bands are asked to provide the highest-quality audio/video recordings and band logo available by December 12, if possible, for promotional purposes.
• All selected bands must submit a stage plot by December 12.
• All selected bands are required to participate in their scheduled soundcheck time (TBA).
• A backline consisting of a drum kit and amplifiers will be provided.
• Bands are welcome to bring their own amplifiers.
• PA system, mixing equipment, speakers, monitors, microphones, stands, and cables will be provided.
